Behavioural Activation

The objectives of Behavioural activation (BA) is to (a) are those activities that are  associated with the experience of pleasure or mastery (enhance in adaptive activities), (b) reduction in  engagement of  activities  sustaining  depression or increasing  risk for depression, and (c) solving  problems  limiting the access to reward or that maintain or increase aversive control. It is a therapeutic intervention that is often used to treat depression. Behavioural activation comes from a behavioural model of misery that conceptualizes dejection as a result of an absence of encouraging feedback. BA is profoundly adjustable and is an extremely individual treatment plan.
